Pastor Jonathan Black is a native of Waldorf, Maryland where he graduated from Southern Maryland Christian Academy and attended The College of Southern Maryland.

In answer to the leading of the Lord into ministry, he transferred to Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies.

The pastor continued his studies in the Master of Divinity program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

From North Carolina, the pastor moved to Rhode Island, accepting a staff position at Aquidneck Island Christian Academy in Portsmouth, RI, from 1999-2006. There he taught multiple grade levels and subjects including Latin, Rhetoric, and Logic. Pastor Black was also active in helping the Academy begin its High School expansion.

In continuing his education, the pastor has done additional studies at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University (UK) and is in the process of completing his Master of Divinity requirements through The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pastor Black has been serving with privilege at Greenmeadow Reformed Baptist Church since April of 2001, being called into full time ministry in June 2006.

Jonathan is married to Alaide and they make their home in Warwick, Rhode Island.
